appy Spring to all! The ice is thawing, the days are getting longer and things are really blooming here at The Alley. Thank you for your continued support of our organization. It is essential to our success, and what an exciting time to be a member of the Naval Academy Club! In February, Chef Randy and I, along with our hardworking team, launched all new lunch and dinner menus for The Alley Restaurant. We’re bringing back a focus on true “Farm to Table” creations, while giving Members a unique culinary experience, with fresh ingredients, and scratch cooking. We’re also implementing weekly lunch specials, weekly dinner specials, updated buffets, and a transition to limited prix-fixe menus for event nights at The Academy. You can find these new menus on our website, as well as your email inbox! Every Monday the lunch buffet, lunch specials, and dinner specials will be sent via email. We’ve also updated the look of The Alley, specifically for lunch service. We’ve done away with the old paper placemat and napkin, for an updated look with emerald green reusable placemats, and rolled silverware in cloth napkins. Not only does this improve the atmosphere of The Alley, but it allows us to be more ecofriendly by reducing waste. Along the same lines, all to-go containers have been updated to use 100% recyclable materials. I’m delighted to formally introduce the newest member of The Club’s office team, Membership and Marketing Coordinator Victoria Walker. Victoria joined us from the MidStore in January, and has jumped in with both feet. She is a great asset to the team and she looks forward to getting to know you all! Our membership base continues to grow and with it, we focus on offering unsurpassed customer service and excellent cuisine. I truly value your feedback, please reach out to me with any suggestions, questions, or concerns. It is the goal of all Academy Club employees to find the balance between keeping with tradition, implementing updates, and supporting the Academy, all while maintaining a 5 star level of service to our valued Members.
