William III Espresso Bar ~ Café provides a welcome respite for Midshipman, Faculty, Staff and Vistors in Nimitz Library. The café is located in the area of “The Old Salt Grind” and proudly recognizes the long history of Old Salt in a completely renovated setting overlooking the Severn River. William III has been serving military and federal government employees for nearly 25 years at Walter Reed, Washington Navy Yard and Joint Base Anacostia Bolling.
The café offers fresh roasted coffee in many different flavors along with espresso drinks of all varieties, hot chocolate and chai teas. Delicious baked goods are available every day and breakfast sandwiches are made-to-order until 1030 each morning. Lunch items and cold drinks are displayed in “grab-n-go” coolers providing a quick meal option. For speedy service, William III has installed an “Express Lane” for drip coffee (hot or iced), baked goods and cooler drinks.
