The U.S. Naval Academy is a four-year coeducational federal service academy located in Annapolis, Maryland. Established in 1845, it is the second oldest of the five service academies. The U.S. Naval Academy offers undergraduate studies for 4000 students and commissions on average 1000 students each May as ensigns in the U.S. Navy and second lieutenants in the U.S. Marine Corps.

The U.S. Naval Academy is located in the City of Annapolis where the Severn River meets the Chesapeake Bay. The area offers a wide variety of activities to explore whether you are touring Annapolis or attending events hosted by the U.S. Naval Academy.  Annapolis has a variety of local hotels and motels to accommodate friends of the Academy including parents, alumni, distinguished guests and visitors.
